Big Bucks for Buildings

Heather Newell, Foresee Communications Ltd, Wellington

This workshop will teach you ways to fundraise money for big projects

If you are contemplating fundraising for a big item such as a new building, a sports facility or an expensive piece of medical equipment you are not going to achieve it through sausage sizzles and celebrity auction dinners. You will discover that corporate sponsorship is only one source of income. The workshop will incorporate hands-on experience using case studies.

Anyone who is involved in fundraising for big items will benefit from this course – a council chief executive seeking income for council driven projects, a fundraiser for a medical institute, or someone constructing a community facility, an all weather track or a sports stadium. Find out what makes a successful campaign right from the start.
